best seafood: rayner's has the best catfish and huspuppies that will melt in your mouth. is a great family atmosphere and good service. if you love seafood it's the best place to go, but they do have other things on the menu.

great hometown restaurant: Just a small hometown family owned restaurant.....great family atmosphere and the best catfish, boiled shrimp and fried shrimp you can ask for. The fried shrimp is not the usual "frozen" type , but they actually take fresh shrimp and butterfly them , batter them with the best batter around and fry them fresh when ordered.

Best hushpuppies in town and finest sweet tea you can ask for. Prices are reasonable. Be sure and say hello to Mickey and Kim, the owners....they love their customers!!!

So much of a family business that their children work with them! This is going on a 3rd generation family restaurant.

Best Shrimp in Hattiesburg: We were in town from Houston to watch some college baseball. Someone at our Hotel suggested Rayner's. Six of us went over there for lunch and stuffed ourselves with the all-u-can-eat boiled shrimp!! It was great!!
