User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWe live in Hattiesburg and occasionally eat at Applebee's. The food is all right most of the time. We've been there times when you wonder who or what is cooking in the back because what you get isn't anything near what you ordered. They are pretty good about making efforts to get your order right. Sometimes the wait staff is great, most of the time it's pretty good. It's most run by college students and young people. Overall the food is pretty good for the price you pay especially when compared to other places in town.

While at Applebee's in Hattiesburg I ordered sirloin steak WELL DONE. When it arrived at the table it was bloody and was running into my vegetables. I asked the waitress to take it back and cook to well done. She was very kind and understanding. When it arrived the second time it was still very pink and bloody. They offered another meal but I refused because I had lost my appetite. They did not charge me for the meal and that was appreciated. In the future I will not be ordering steak at Applebee's. Thank you for your time.
