Panino's has closed. The establishment changed hands over a year ago and the quality of food and service began to slide. The establishment closed about four months ago.
Panino's was a decent restaurant under the previous owner, but it has deteriorated under the new management. The help is poorly trained, the food is mediocre, the wine is overpriced and many items are "out". The owner seems ambivalent about her clientele - when we visited shortly after she took over, she walked right past our table (we were a large party spending lots of money) without greeting us or asking us about the food or service (the waitress didn't know how to uncork a wine bottle). I hate to say it, but Olive Garden is a better value with better food and service
My wife and I went to Panino's a few times when it was under the former management. It was pretty good. We went again when they were under new management. We had a discount card from the Relay For Life campaign with their offer on the back. They would not honor it. It was an offer for a free appetizer. Of course, they waited until after we had ordered to tell us that they would not honor it because there were new owners. That's the least of the problems. The veal was very sinewy and the sauce was lousy also. On top of all that, the service was absoulutely horrendous. I certainly will not darken their doorway again and would recommend that nobody else does either. By the way, don't you think they should change the name of the place if it's not owned by Panino any more? Don't waste your money there. Go to Walnut Circle Grill....or Pizza Hut for that matter!!!!

i happen to know the owner very well. very nice and classy lady. the food has always been great. authentic Italian and Mediterranean unlike the freezer-burned stuff from Olive Garden. The service has always been exceptional, even if you try a new dish and dont particularly care for it they replace it free of charge and are very very adamant about making sure you and your party are thoroughly satisfied. Maybe next time (big spender) which Im sure he wasnt, (b/c as small as this mom and pop restaurant is...a big party would hardly go unnoticed let only not catered to like royalty) maybe he should stick to the dollar menu at burker king maybe they can get it "just the way he likes it". to anyone interested in Panino's you will not be disappointed. they have a loyal clientele.
