Rude service. I will never be back.: I came in this Kangaroo at 10:30pm on 9/20/06 to buy a pack of cigarettes. One of the women working was extremely rude, claiming she was "tired of all ya'll [customers] coming in and disrespecting her." she said she was also "tired of people throwing thier wallets at her," when in fact, I set my wallet on the counter, open with my ID face up, when I initially asked for the pack of cigarettes and when she asked for the ID, I slid it across the counter toward her. In no way did I disrespect this woman, or insinuate disrespect. I buy the same brand/flavor of cigarettes everyday, in the same manor and even use the same words. No one has ever been offended when I say, "I need a pack of Marlboro Lights in a box." She also added something about how her job was hard. I work construction, so this comment put slight humor in the situation. It was only then that I was able to walk out without causing a scene. This will be reported to this woman's manager. There are many more gas stations with cheaper cigarette prices than this Kangaroo. I will not visit this one again, and would advise anyone to drive the extra quarter mile to avoid the possibility of interaction with this woman and her foul mood.
