The young spikey-haired man was very polite and although they didnt have what I was looking for, he was able to sell me something very comprible. I was VERY impressed with his product knowledge!!!
It took us awhile to be helped due to the large amout of people in the store, but overall i was extremely pleased with our purchase and experiance at this store.-

I've gone to Dad's several times over the past few years and although they are ALWAYS busy, they ALWAYS are helpful. If they don't have it, they can get it. I have noticed in the past that the amount of people in the store dictates how quickly I get helped, but thats true anywhere. They are the only ones that I've found to offer a nation wide LIFETIME warranty with some of the lowest prices around. I would recommend this store to anyone in the market to buy a great new or used gun.

My wife and I were in Dads last week end, and bought a Ruger LCR. We found the staff was very courteous and helpful.
They took up a lot of time with us, explaining some of the finer points of defensive weapons, ammo shortages, gun operation, etc.
Once we made up our mind on the LCR, they helped with the shipping to GA and the transfer papers. The gun shipped out on time, and arrived the next day, just as promised.
Dad's came highly recommended to me by a friend who lives in Ellisville MS ... he was right. I'll sure pass along my recommendation to others as well.

Did they explain to you about the recall and show you if yours needed to be sent back to the factory or was correct and didn't need anything else done to it?
LCR's have not been recalled. The LCP's have and those problems have been worked out. You were just a little confuzed!
