User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWent there at 3pm on friday, trying to avoid the rush. They were OUT of Steak. Then ordered Oyster's, Out of those too. They offered to give us desert free after we ordered for the third time. We said no thank you.. but had to pay for our soft drinks..... Never Again !!!!

I just want to start off by letting EVERYONE know that Cafe New Orleans in D'Iberville suprasses all your dining expectations!! They've been nominated by the Observer magazine's readers for the upcoming Covey Awards for 2 categories..best local cuisine and best seafood! Their atmosphere is unbelievably comfortable..like sitting in the kitchen at an ole friends house!!! Great hospitality and the service there is the best I've ever had!! Food is out of this world and I've eaten there many many times and its always just as good as the last time if not better!! Their menu offers something for everyone!! Family oriented atmosphere!! I definitly recommend everyone to eat there!!

Absolutely false!!! Their food is EXCELLENT and true to cajun food in Southern Louisiana. You posted several very negative comments on restaurants on 12/20/08. If I didn't know better I would think you were trying to sabotage every descent restaurant in this town. Either you own a restaurant and have a fantasy that this will somehow help your business or you are just a complete "nose in the air" idiot! You obviously do not know what real Cajun food tastes like. Funny that this restaurant was nominated for two Covey awards for "best seafood" and "best local cuisine." For all readers who are looking for a great casual dining experience and some spicy, saucy, delicious cajun food.....GO to Cafe New orleans! The atmosphere is great too!!!!!! There are unbelievable murals of the swamp, Bourbon Street, and the French Quarter to top off the great food experience!! They have two locations, D'Iberville and Ocean Springs.
I'm convinced you work for that wannabe Marquee magazine who gives out those stupid awards every year to help keep restuarants advertising with you!
