I was disappointed in the reviews that I see here. We stopped by on our way back to Texas from Florida. I saw this place on DDD on Food Network awhile back so I had planned for us to stop. The BBQ was pretty good, it was not bad at all. And the portions, man they were HUGE. I am a big man and I couldn't finish my whole plate. Thats very unusual!! The side items were excellent, especially the macaroni salad and baked potato salad. Man those were awesome!! The atmosphere is excellent and its just my kind of place. I only wish I could be there when they have live entertainment. To be honest, the pulled pork, and ribs were the best of the meat items. But I recommend this place to anyone. While we were there, I bet there was close to 50 air force personnel. They seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area again.
My sauce and rub are better. If you get lucky in OS you can get the best BBQ @ the Macedonia Baptist church. Although I haven't seen them doing any events lately. The only thing good at the Shed is the atmosphere other than that do your own BBQ.
AAAHHHHH BBQ Bliss!!
Canned sauce your crazy!! They make the sauce in a 50 gallon pot every day! Watch the Food Network,Travel Channel,Regis and Kelly,Diners Drive ins and Dives much....They show how everything is made ..
Oven??, LOL once again you've lost your marbles!
The wood burning smoker has got to be huge. They are always packed.
Sorry but i gotta represent for The Shed
Go ShedHeads!!!!

Tony Roma's are prepared in an oven and are much better than anything I've ever tried at The Shed. In the 70's An Jacks was the BBQ place on the Coast, in the 90's the place to go was Dreamland however both have gone downhill. I agree with the previous post that the only thing decent at The Shed is the atmosphere and if you want the best BBQ make it yourself at home!
Sorry, forgot about Pleasant's they can throw down some mean BBQ.
Hey Baron.. If you dont like it, stop eating there!
I dont eat there, I also dont run around telling everyone how great a place is with mediocre food.
