User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDo not take your beloved Pet to this Vet! They turned my 80 year old mother away when she brought her cat in who had been attacked by a raccoon and needed serious medical treatment. They refused treatment on the basis that her cat normally went to a different Vet, Dr. Roberts (Moss Point). Dr. Roberts office was not open that afternoon. They sent her home and by monday the cat had deteriorated so much he had to be put down on Monday. Had Dr. McDevitt been willing to see her cat, he might have lived.
Anyone who refused to help out an 80 year old woman and a sick cat, cannot be a good vet or a good person.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest ever!: This is the best vet clinic ever! They truly care for and about the animals. The care my animals received while in Dr. Mc Devitt's care cannot be beat. I suggest everyone take their animals here!

This woman is totally CONFUSED!! She apparently went to another veterinary clinic in Gautier and did not even know where she went! She came into our office and threatened to shoot everybody in the clinic because Dr. McDevitt "refused" to see her cat. He tried to reason and talk to her but she refused to listen to him. Her mother DID NOT bring the cat into Dr. McDevitt's office and he never refused to treat it. Margaret needs to get her story and facts straight!!
No I am not confused, and I did speak with Dr.McDevitt and found out he had a assistant that worked there that day, and he had fired her as a result of her bad behavior in how she treated his patients! Unfortunatelry he was in the back that day and was unaware of my mother and cat being there. SO she WAS refused treatment by his staff member. The unfortunate thing was this was the 2nd time he had employed this girl and fired her. And I did not threaten anyone in that office with anything other than a lawsuit!
