    This is HANDS DOWN the best restaurant in Starkville. For a non-native like myself, City Bagel is an oasis of deliciously wholesome food in a nutritional desert of small town southern fried cuisine. I've not had anything that I didn't like from the Bagel, but I am especially fond of soups, and their Tomato Basil, Curry Lentil, and Potato Leek are out of this world! If you are a helath food junkie, or just want to eat *real* food, I recommend City Bagel for all three meals.

    Great place to eat in Starkville. It's a real community center and the food is excellent. Try the pasta primavera, the sausage polenta, or the pizza's for dinner. For lunch, the sandwiches on ficaccia are outstanding.

    In this day, it is next to impossible to find a restaurant you can trust is actually making food and not microwaving frozen dinners. City Bagel is a jewel that has a cement hold on starkville. If you haven't been, take a day of from the cookie cutter depression that is the 2008 food scene and try a place that makes its own way.
