User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Rud- a Louisville Landmark: Forget the shady neighborhood, don't pass up a visit to the Rud. It has been a vital part of the Louisville art landscape for many years. With a great menu offering regional dishes, the food is reasonable and excellent. As far as art, they have offered local bands, theatre groups, artists, etc for years. I think they have the nicest owners of any place in town as well. They really have a love for the place and it shows.

Supporting the music and theatre community throughout the years, the Rud has long been a friendly place for all who pass through the doors for great food, entertainment and just a great place to meet and be with friends. Whether gay, str8, woman, man, black, white, pink, jazz lover, alternative rock, progressive theatre, or just love a great game of darts - you are going to LOVE the Rud and the people who are there!
