Moby Dick Restaurants

1/29/08: For several years I have had the pleasure of stopping in the St Matthews Mobey Dick restuarant as I traveled through Louisville, for one of the best fish sandwiches and onion rings that I had ever tasted. However, yesterday was a very sad dissapointment. After traveling 3 hours in anticipation of my regular great fish sandwich, I was very disappointed. The normal 2 crisp, lightly colored fillets was now served as one smaller fillet, darker in color and no where near the normal great tasting fish that I had experienced for years. The onion rings almost seemed as though they had been warmed up in old frying oil? When I asked the Mobey Dick representative what had happened, he could only reply that the fish fillets were now being pre-cut and shipped to them that way? Well, if this is true, and this is what I can expect in the future, I guess I will be stopping by Kingfish or another fish resturarant in the future.
