A thought a one star rating was almost unbelieveable. Then I called this store! The voice prompt menu went through the same commands twice, then the phone rang for an extended period. In the end, I talked to a rather rude person who told me the only way to get the answer I wanted was to come in to the store. Don't worry, I won't be coming in to "bother you."
WOW!!! Best Buy...what were they thinking?? I am really disgusted with the service when it comes to the products you buy from them. One..they never answer the phone and when they do, they are rude!! Two..Geek Squad?? Right, it should be Greek Squad. You can never get a right answer!!
Worst store ever. I don't know why but I have spent thousands there. No more! Went recently to buy a refrigerator. Couldn't find anyone in the appliances dept. I ask a guy nearby in records if he could help me as I saw he was having casual conversation with two young women.
He said he would help in just a minute. He stood there discussing music with them over 15 minutes with me standing twenty feet away.
Finally aniother person asked if I'd been helped and proceeded to provide assistance. When I left the guy was still flirting with the girls.
I've started shopping at Circuit City.

I answer the phone every chance I get. That being said, we used to never have an operator. The position just didn't exist. So, we were expected to assist everyone in a huge line up front, fix computers in the back AND answer the phone which was ringing constantly all day. Who would you choose to help first? People that came in for your help and are standing in front of you, or people who came in? We now have an operator, so it isn't as bad, but it's still tough to answer it all of the time. With that being said, ask for Nick when you come to Geek Squad next time. I'd like to figure out why you've been so dissapointed with us.
