You have probably heard that some of the best food is found in hole-in-the-wall establishments. Well let me tell you about the best BBQ in Louisville.
If you like good, slow-cooked, smoked BBQ then you have to try Bootleg's. I recommend their original store on Bardstown Road, a couple miles south of the Gene Snyder freeway.
If you give them a couple hours notice they can prepare for your their slow-smoked bbq wings that are better than any you've ever tasted. I also recommend there chicken sandwich and ribs.
They have good sides too - country style green beans and cole slaw just to name a few.
