    I eat at the cheddar box cafe'. Love the food and service. The staff has always been so helpful. The Cheddar Box Cafe is truly a treat. I have used them to help cater my Derby Party! when I went to pick up the stuff everything was ready and perfect to order! cant ask for more! I also take my mom there when she comes in from out of town and then we stroll the shops after lunch.

    needs to have an online menu. food is very good. go try it for yourself. as for "snooty" I think that's according to the day and the waitress, just like any other place.

    I moved to Louisville a year ago, know no one, not a "lady who lunches", I go there weekly driving my antique car, dressed like a slob and they are RELENTLESSLY nice. So not snooty. The little cheddar wafers are my downfall, along with the cheddar pecan spread, the torte, the pimento cheese, and sometimes they have this chicken breast with walnut gravy for takeout that is awesome. The poundcake tastes just like my grandmothers.
