    Great hometown atmosphere. Delicious food. Try the pecan fondant cookies, they are wonderful.

    Burke's Bakery is amazing. Burke's bakery bakers bake better. I was born and raised in Danville and thinking of Burkes brings back good memories. If you are in Danville or close to Danville, do your self a favor and stop by. I moved away from Danville several years ago but whenever I'm in Danville it is a MUST that I stop by the bakery. A few of my many favorites are the Persian rolls, gingerbread men, spice bars, the apple sauce cake with caramel icing, the donut holes, fudge brownies, their individual sized pies (I love their chess pie) pimento cheese, chicken salad and their Butterflake Rolls. Their rolls are some of the best you will ever have. Eat them as they come or heat them up – either way they are wonderful.
