The Best Club in Town: The Maverick is the best club in Richmond. They have excellent staff such as bartenders and great security. The owner and manager are real nice people.

When there's no where else...: I'm a Lexington college student, I'm 19, and I love to dance. To my knowledge, Hurricanes is the only club close to Lexington that will allow under 21's in. It was a pretty good experience. I'm hoping to go back soon. The DJ interrupted the songs a bit much. And while I know a dance club is going to get pretty hot, I felt like they should've been pumping out more air, because I left there soaked from being overheated. The crowd was great. It was packed and the patrons were friendly. I loved how girls were allowed to stand on the speakers and really work it. My only real complaints are that it was too hot and there's not enough room to really dance, especially on a kickin' night.

I didnt know she was 15 officer!!!!!!!!: The possitive points about Hurricanes its two clubs in one. The drinks are competitivly priced. They have a room full of mirrors dim light and fog. The staff are friendly.
The bad is you can only drink in one side and that side is dead. You are suposed to be at least 18 to enter but I did not see any ID's checked at the door to gett in the no alcohol side. I was forwarned after arriveing to check IDs of any girl wanting to leave with you.
