DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! The lady is extremely rude. She sold a friend a helmet she did not need and told her she was required to have it. ( she is new and didn't know she didn't need it till about 10 minutes after she left.) When she called to tell her she needed to return it (less than an hour later) the lady told her no & argued with her that it was required. Finally agreed to take it back but BANNED her from the store. Then when she returned it she was told she would be disqualified and how wrong both her and I was wrong and we didn't know our rules. Actually lady we do. I will NEVER go back. Too bad they had a Jaguar saddle I wanted......

DO NOT SHOP HERE! The staff are friendly, with the exception of one older gentleman who ruined this shop for me. I took in a brand new saddle to consign with Wise Choice for $200 less than what I bought it for, I was just looking for a no-hassle deal to see if I could sell it there and make this shop a little money. The woman was very nice, and was about to get me the paperwork to sign the saddle up when the older gentleman walked in, told the both of us "No, it won't sell for that, I won't consign it for any more than (number here)". My saddle was already cheap, being a brand name not many have heard of, and this man had nothing but nasty things to say about it. I asked him, just to be sure, if I could sign it up for my original asking price, and he once more rudely told me that it wasn't going to sell, and likely wouldn't sell for the number he gave me. He treated me very badly in front of the girl I was in with and two employees, who couldn't even look at me, they were so embarrassed. I was humiliated to be there. I was going to turn around and buy a better fitting saddle from Wise Choice Tack when mine sold, but I will NEVER go there again. If you just need to buy things, it's a nice little tack shop but don't ask for anything and don't try to consign your tack there to sell. I have never been treated so badly before, and I have been driving to Wise Choice from Nicholasville, when there is another tack shop right in Wilmore. I will be taking my business to Bits, Bridles and More in Wilmore from now on, or getting things online rather than wasting my gasoline driving all the way to North Lexington to be treated like Wise Choice Tack is too good for my money. They won't be getting anymore of it.
