User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis place is pretty good. They have the best onion rings and fried chicken around. I would however stay away from the pasta gabriel, i had that last time and it wasn't very good.

We visited the tavern during a convention in Ft. Mitchell under advisment from our hotel front desk. Atmosphere is nice, a colonial tavern motief. Music dident match the atmosphere. The menu was ok, nothing exceptional, about the same style as a Bob Evans, they did have some items like Salmon, etc. The pricing was a little high for the quality of food and service. Our server (a young blonde girl) not too friendly, and rarely checked back on us was busy talking to coworkers in the servers station. Manager never checked on us, and when we left, no one even bothered to say goodnight or thanks for coming in. Typical northern style restaurant trying too hard to be "southern hospitality" and failing miserably. It's a shame to have a historic building like this ruined by incompitent managers and poorly trained and stuck up wait staff. My advice, skip this restaurant.
