Lily Moon - One of the Greatest Dining Experiences: What a wonderful experience! With super service and a great ambient environment, The Lily Moon is the perfect place to go for absolutely anything dining. Prices are awesome, portions are fantastic, and the people that run it are amazing. I had the pleasure of going to the Lily Moon tonight for the first time, I had the Filet Mignon with Port. Mushrooms, veg, and garlic mashed potato, and it was truly one of the best meals I've ever enjoyed...It has been a very long time since I've had a meal even close to what I was given tonight. I even got to meet the owner/chef, and what an interesting and amazing man he is. His daughter was our waitress, and she is just a gem. Such great people, such a great restaurant. I will definitely be going to the Lily Moon for dinner before I go anywhere else.

Great Service and food!!: I have to say that Lily Moon Cafe is one of the hidden treasures of Maine. We just had a birthday celebration this weekend, and WOW! Great food, service and the amout of food you are given, no need to good food shopping for a week, we have enough leftovers to last at least 2 more meals. Our hats off to the owners and staff of Lily Moon.

Huh?: This is in response to the moody waitstaff review. I am very familiar with the people that work here and the establishment itself. I was most bothered by his remark about the owner. The owner busts her back 6 days a week in that kitchen cooking and prepping for that meal, lunch, and dinner. Her husband also coowner has been battling illness for quite sometime and can no longer be in the kitchen with her. She is trying to hold it together with the help of her children and very loyal customers of 10 years. So, I don't know where you get off saying she has time or the energy to go around "scooping" up tips for the waitstaff. She and her husband are some of the most giving and caring people in that community, and that is why they have lasted this long and have been given so much support in return. Through it all she always keeps smiling. Folks should have their facts straight before they write reviews.
