I would highly recommend Dr. Moorehead for anyone, but especially for children. He has a wonderful chair-side manner. Both of my daughters were really scared the first time we took them to the dentist, but Dr. Moorehead made them feel at ease right away, which made them not be afraid to go back the next time. My 11 year old had a root canal last week and the only discomfort that she mentioned was simply having to keep her mouth open for so long. She even said the shots that were given to numb her hurt a lot less than when getting her finger pricked for a blood test. He gives them slowly so that they feel it less. He talked to her often during the root canal procedure explaining what he was doing and what she could expect which made her not become anxious since she knew what he was doing and was about to do. He even goes as far as wearing regular clothing rather than Dr.'s coat, which I'm sure takes the Dr. image away for kids. Another thing that he does is call that night to see how the patient is doing. He even called the night that my daughter found out that she was going to have to have the root canal just to be sure she was doing ok on the antibiotic. This shows he really cares about his patients. He even has days where he opens his office to the public for free dental visits. This is for people who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it. This is what I would call a very cary dentist. If you are someone who needs to go to the dentist but you are afraid, just go to Dr. Moorehead. He's the dentist for you.

I was petrefied of the dentist and Kathy suggested i do the sedation dentistry, it was great. Everyone there was so kind and helped me through the entire process, I woke up and hadn't remembered a thing. Thanks again!

I have been very happy with the care that I have received from this office. I had fears of going to the dentist, but this staff has made me feel better about it. They are very caring, patient, and understanding and make sure that I am comfortable every step of the way. They have also been very helpful in answering all of the questions that I have. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone, especially if you have fears of visiting the dentist!
