    I'm fairly new to Shakey's but I've had quite a few meals there in the past couple of months. The food is good and better than average for pub fare. What I find interesting is the several comments about how Shakey ignores newbies. Oddly enough, I had lunch at the bar today, and, yes, Diana sometimes needs a shoutout, but, Shakey stationed himself right by the front door and greeted every person that walked through and made special effort to say hi and guide folks he didn't know. The place gets pretty busy at lunch, that's when I go in most times, so, if you want to meet Shakey, just say something. I know he'd be happy to make your acquaintance. The place ain't perfect, but it's one of the friendlier pubs I've been in, in a while. Shakey's kind of a gruff but nice and funny guy and he cares what you think, so if you got a beef, you should let him know.

    Fun atmosphere with a friendly staff. The live music on the weekends adds a feeling of relaxation to the bar.
