this has got to be the worst place to take your car if you are having problems. not only are they rude and have a problem with hanging up on people, the I.R.S. may want to take a look into what they are really doing. $1800 later my car is not shifting it is actually worse off then when i first took it to them, they give you a warrenty and then hang up on you when you call and tell them something is wrong, not good for buisness at all.
I was just trying to talk to a supervisor on this about my transmission AND HE CALLED ME A LIAR telling me you cannot find a rebuilt transmission for $650 which I did BY THE DODGE DEALERS THEMSELVES, then he hung up on me and refused to give me the OWNERS PHONE NUMBER....THIS IS THE SUPERVISOR who I think needs to get out of the customer service area and start WASHING DISHES or something because in my 30 yrs in business I HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE SO RUDE AND NEGATIVE
Not a good place to do business with. I took a vehicle in that had been leaking transmission fluid. I had been keeping a watch on it and making sure it never ran low or dry.
The mechanic there drove the vehicle and said it shifted great and had no problems He said it just needed new gaskets installed and I was told it would be $495 to pull the transmission and put in new gaskets and put it back in the vehicle. I was told I was the
"1 in 100 that just needed gaskets" after not hearing back from them for 2 days I called and RANDY said "Oh that transmission is burnt up and needs rebuilt" I asked how much is that going to cost? $2380.00. I said I don't think I want to do that with a 12 year old vehicle and he said well let us know what to do. we can put it back in and you can come up and pay the $495 and have it towed off. I said I'd let him know and hung up. Approximately 4 MINUTES LATER RANDY called me back. He said he could do the transmission for $1650 if I was interested. He said the 1st price he gave me was just straight out of the computer. At this point I knew I had been taken. A respectable business would never operate this way. I said I still don't think I want to put that much money in the vehicle. He replied what are you going to do with it? I said I might part it out or sell it to a junk yard. He said it's too nice to do that with and he asked me what I wanted for it because he was interested in buying it. AGAIN a respectable business would never do this. At this point they had me. I was going to have to pay $495 to have a transmission put back in that may not work plus pay a tow bill to get it to a respectable garage or I pay them $1650 to get it put back in and running. I went in to speak with Randy ON A FRIDAY and asked if I have you do it what time frame are we looking at. He said you can pick it up MONDAY. I said you can have it done that quick?? He said (your gonna love this) "Yea we went ahead and ordered parts for it when we took it out and saw what was wrong because we know everybody goes ahead and gets it fixed". This guy must think I am a complete idiot. No one orders parts for a job like that. I paid the $1650 and had them "rebuild it?". The vehicle runs and shifts just like it did when I took it there, the only difference is that it does not leak. The day I picked it up I spoke with another salesman there who was very nice and he explained to me that RANDY the salesman had only been with them for about 2 weeks but he had been with Aamco company for about 27 years and he was one of their top salesmen. I don't doubt that a bit because he is a total BS'r.
