First the gift shop does not have 35mm film, only disposable cameras, so I was alittle disappointed.
The exibits were great, but the Great white sharks were not on display because the cage was broken. However the tunnels with the sharks and other fish and turtles swimming around was very exciting. I only hope that the pictures I took with the disposable camera turn out good.
I was able to get pictures of the sharks coming at my son and above us like we were really in the water with them.
My son loved the area where he could actually touch the smaller sharks.

I, Cindy, Jeremy & Kimberly visited the Newport Aquarium, about 2 hours southeast of Indianapolis, on January 20.

The Aquarium is part of a development known as "Newport on the Levee", a retail development with stores, restaurants, a shopping mall, and a 20-count AMC theatre.

The aquarium is, in a word, 'amazing'. :) ... from facinating underwater tunnels (with fish and sharks and all manner of creatures swimming by your shoulders and over your head), to playful otters to see, and hungry birds to hand-feed (!) :)

Once you've made your way through the aquarium, the shopping, eating and entertainment options will keep you occupied ... and if not, the Cincinnati Zoo and the city of Cincinatti, OH. are just minutes away.

'Highly' recommended ... I, Cindy and the children will be making a return trip ... guaranteed! :)

This aquarium is not worth the $33.00 my wife and I paid to get in for the day. We enjoyed most of the tanks and displays. The aviary was fun for feeding the birds. However, we were in and out of the aquarium in about an hour. Based on all of the reviews and comments we read we figured this would be about a 1/2 day deal. Wouls return if our neice and nephews are in town or we have our own children, otherwise we will not return any time soon.
