User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe levee is beautiful, full of life and entertainment. However we also ate a Johnny Rockets, which I've eaten before in NJ. We wanted to eat outside in the sun, however we were advised that it was closed. Had we known they were in the process of opening it, we would have waited. The hostess/waitress should have told us. Our lunch would have been that much better. Also the fries do not come with every sandwich! We paid $76 for 4 adults and 1 child. The music got alittle loud and it was cramped inside. But the burger was great and so where the fries. Would have been nice to enjoy them together!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsStay Away from Johnny Rockets 2 - I echo the comments made by the other reviewer - we had a great morning at the Levee untill we got to Johnny Rockets - 1)Cramped and uncomfortable seating 2) they bring out fried and onion rings first then our food came about 15 min later, by then we had filled up on the "sides" 3) very limited menu 4) $85 bucks for lunch for three adults and three kids - WOW !!
How do places like this even stay in business ? Too bad there aren't many good/quick family friendly eating places in the Levee - it would make the visits there more enjoyable.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsStay away from Johnny Rockets.: If you visit the aquarium, stay away from Johnny Rockets. The service is not that good. The food is even worse and the prices are ridiculously overpriced. I ordered lunch and it cost me 43 dollars. There is no reason lunch for 2 adults, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old should be that much. All I ordered were chicken nuggets, a hamburger and 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. The portions are TINY for what they charge. That evening I spent 29 dollars at an Applebees and left full and satisfied. The service isnt that bad but since they auto charge gratuity, it should be 1000 times better. If you are traveling there, the aquarium and candy store are GREAT... Johnny Rockets leaves a lot to be desired.
