While I normally enjoy Olive Garden the one in Paducah was less than stellar. We went mid afternoon and we were the only people in our section, so it wasn't a crowd issue. The service was pathetic my glasses stayed empty and you had to flag down the server to get a refill, we waited nearly a hour for our meal and our bread was never refreshed, so the endless bread sticks in fact do end. The portions were small for the price I almost feel like we got the lunch size portion at the dinner size price, as stated the server was slow, sloppy and inattentive and we were her only table that was occupied.
For the quality of the food and service i should have got a bill half the price of the $70 we paid for a late lunch, I will not be back.

I visited Olive Garden on 12/9/08. the Garden has always been one of my favorite places to dine. I buy gift certificates for friends as well for gifts as I always rely on great food experiences there. My last visit was a great disappointment however. First, the salad was unusual and did not taste as usual and I did not finish it. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he remarked that I was the only one with a complaint, so not being a comfrontational person I let it go. However, the drinks from the bar were awful as well,as were our entrees. My steak gorgonzola(ms) was ordered as med.rare and was delivered as well and with only 4 small portions of overcooked steak. My sons rib dish was totally over spiced. On a more positive note, the appetizers were very good. The overall experience was not a pleasure.
I am saddened that I will have to think twice about returning. I am not your usual complaining person, as I work with the public myself, I know that some people just cannot be pleased, no matter what. I assure you that I'm not one of them.I have visiting the Garden for 40 yrs and this was my first disapointment, so thats good. But I was very surprised on my last visit, and not in a good way.

the olive garden is the best for itialian food: the food and service was wonderful. I enjoyed myself and plan on going again.
