ridiculous...we purchased a chinchilla and a bird as well and not only were they rude when we made a $400 purchase but the store smelled awful. would probably had bought fish as well but there were so many that was dead we were a little leary. should have been a wake up call on the bird and chinchilla we purchased because the bird had been so abused it died a week after we purchased it and no refund as well as the chinchilla lasted about a month if that. they did not give us any idea that the pets had been abused until we had them vet checked. would not recommend go to another state if you have to.

awful,i recently purchased a red tail boa from this store and it was acting kind of sick after i got home with it.just a few hours later it died it had been starved.the place smelled really bad.i called them back for a refund or a replacement they said they couldnt do anyone.they told me i shouldnt have went shopping leaving it in the hot weather.but i didnt go shopping.they know they are to blame but and stead of being honest and admitting they were to blame they blame me.i would never buy another reptile from a neglegence pet shop like mikes kritter kastle again.were animals are abused and die before some one with a heart has a chance to resque them.i believe the humane society should be contacted since this pet shop is committing such awful crimes against animals whos only voice as ours.

I've bought a number of snakes from this store and they continue to be rude to me. The last time I bought a yellow rat snake and I asked to hold it and they told me "You can't hold it unless you buy it!" and I had to tell them that I wouldn't buy any reptile without checking it out first before they would let me touch the thing. The last time I went in, there were a number of dead anoles and a ball python that looked so starved that it was practically dead already. They're good if you have no where else you can possibly go, but other than that, I'd go somewhere else.
