Hutchen's B-B-Q

This restaurant is a classic oldie. The food is great and the atmosphere is warm and cheery. From the barbeque to the ribs, catfish dinners, ham hocks,it is delish! I come to the restaurant at least twice a week to eat and the prices are very resonable. They also have really good breakfasts.
The waitress' are very friendly and make me feel like I'm important. I tell alot of out of town people to go try this restaurant. It is also non-smoking which is a big plus.

I visited Hutchen's last week and found the burger to be very good and the Fries perfect. Ownership has changed several times and the quality has varied with the owner. We were home during the summer and had BBQ and to me it was almost as good as when Carl Jenkins was alive and running the BBQ pits. Hutchen's has gone no smoking so that is a positive for me. Four Pigs is very good but the smoking is a negative.

I have eaten recently at Hutchens and found that the past owners are back. While I was in town I decided to try this restaurant because it has been there for over 60 years. The food and service was awesome. You've got to try the ribs. The best I have eaten anywhere! My husband had the barbeque pork and it was also very good. Take my advice and try them again. You won't be sorry. The service was also great. Will visit them often when in town.
