i just moved here and i dont like the school already. we moved from PA and my son is in K5 before we moved he was bringing books home to read and he was learning more in 3 1/2 hous there then i feel he is learning here in 8 hours. Also, if your child is late 3 times thats an automatic unexcused absence when you can just leave them off school and write a note and it is excused, an idiot must have wrote that one, and they don't have a way for your child to be excused from school for an educational trip. His last school did not try to fine the parernts for a k5 student misssing class because it is an optional grade and the children are not use to it. I think this school and township does whatever possible to suck money out of the community. I can't wait we will be hopefullymoving very soon and i won't have to deal with this school or district anymore and if not i will be moving on post so i don't have to deal with it.

this school is aweful. the preschool program is great and Kindergarden teachers are really good, I don't agree with one recess all day, which half of the time the students never get. It is too long for any student fifth grade and under. The new principle is mean and does supports her horrible teachers instead of looking out for the benifit of her students education. They yell at the kids in the lunch room all the time not to talk, but then give them no time to socialize and get there energy out. I did not like any of the first grade teachers they are too hard on the students, and some of the teachers in second grade are aweful, and all the students have to go to all of the teachers. Half the teachers are not teaching the students just giving them what they need to pass there test, in the long run that will not help them. I came in and my two year old was play hitting my five year old, and one of the teachers grabber her and spun her around to yell at her, when she realized she wasn't a studen and I was standing right there. I was so mad, and I have seen the teachers in the hall get unreasonbly angry at students and yell at them. The kitchen staff is mean and they will not let your kids eat breakfast if they are even a few minutes late, they will let them starve unless you are standing there as a parent and say something. My children are affraid of more than half the teachers at this school. I would not recommend this school to anyone. Infact there are several mothers I know who are thinking of petitioning against several teachers and the principle at this school. I hope they do.
