    I am a regular at Split Tree and eat there probably two or three times a week. The house special is a very good deal and even better order it with sliced pork instead of the chopped with the beans on top of the corn cakes with the meat tucked inside. Also the ribs and chicken dinners are the best.

    I had Split tree for the first time today. I have the pulled pork plate. All in all, the meat was very good. Nice hickory smoke flavor, moist, and tender. There are only 3 suggestions I would like to make to the owner:
    1: Accept Credit Cards
    2: Work on your side dishes. If you are only going to offer 3, they should be good.
    3: Get a variety of sauces, not just one sauce. Some like sweet, some like hot and others like an in between. Give us a choice.
    IMO, this is the best smoked pork in BG. I would suggest take out and making your own sides.
