User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOn June 10th, 2009, my cat got crushed by the garage door--he had been on top of the door when it was shut. He hung there for 90 minutes. I rushed him to Wills, who by the way, have vetted my horses and dog before. They gave him prompt emergency care only after we discussed what the costs could be and the various treatment options. Dr. Spurrier was straightforward with my cat's chances for any recovery, despite how hard that was to hear.
After just 1 overnight stay, Dr. Spurrier felt it was in the cat's best interest to send him home to see how his recoverey progressed. For a week, this cat could not walk; he dragged his hind legs behind him. Now, 5 weeks and 2 days later, he is walking with slightly short strides in the hind quarters. His recovery is nothing short of a miracle and I highly recommend Wills to anyone who asks.
I've other people tell me to try so-and-so but I can't imagine why I would do that when this business has repeatedly been so responsive to my emergences, feline AND equine.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsTook our purebred pup there a couple of times. Didn't have any issues with the first visit got some shots, nails trimmed and bathed ran about 90 bucks. Had to take our puppy back for booster shots a month later. When my wife and kids arrived to pick up the puppy bill was 70.00 dollars she had 60.00 plus cash on her and they refused to give her our dog and bill us for less then 10.00 dollars.
After hearing this I promptly went and paid the same way I would have if they had given us our dog. I just don't trust this vet service anymore after holding our dog hostage for less than 10.00 dollars. I would recommend if you take your pet there don't be short a penny when it comes time to pick them up.
