there's something about small-town chinese cuisine: It's funny how the chinese restaurants found in small towns always manage to meet expectations. Though I was afraid that having few options would result in having to settle for sub-par chinese food, Wah Garden was a pleasant surprise. The rangoon has found a pleasant crab-to-cream cheese balance. The lo mein is light, not too greasy. The steak teriyaki has a palatable ginger taste to it, which for most is a good thing. I don't want to sound harsh when I call their food "acceptable" or "good enough". It's not the best chinese food you'll ever eat. But it's a lot better than you might expect. And for that, I'm thrilled.
