- Primarily for Japanese people who want to hang out in a Japanese setting.
- Would not recommend for non Japanese unless they want to experience authentic Japanese mom and pop shop that serves unimpressive Japanese food-

great food, horrible service: the food is absolutely fantastic.... but the way they treat their customers sometimes will make you wanna get up and leave. there was one occacion that a bunch of us requested seperate checks when we were ordering, and the waitress said no problem..... and still gave us 1 check at the end. When we asked our waitress if she could do them seperately, she got really really mad. Another occacion is that we got charged a gratuity charge.... but there were only 3 of us!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAMAZING!!!: I have been going to Ba Sho for 5 years now and I can tell you I have NEVER had a bad experience here! The service is amazing and althougth I order the same thing everything , which my server no matter who she is always remeber what I like everything si doen perfectly! By far the BEST spicy tuna in town!

Your comment leaves to me think you have never eaten there. Most of the folks that eat there are non-Japanese. Food is very good, and they do offer more Izakaya style dishes than other Japanese places. Under the new ownership they are friendly, and service has always been fast and friendly.
