I love BBQ but Hoggy's isn't the best. Too commercialized. I much prefer City BBQ across the street.
I just heard from a fellow Marionite (that I did not know on a cruise ship in Cozumel) that the Jug had closed. Sorry to hear that. I had my first 3.2% beer at "The Old Jug" in the summer of 1970. I had my first high beer at the New Jug three years later. As kids we would go to the Jug to drink beer and eat Pizza. Any one who has the recipe for the pizza sauce email me please. (wpbgolf@tampabay.rr.com) I would always go to the Jug and the G&R when I came back "home" from Florida.
I will miss the place. Many fond memories.

The Jug was my Fav place to go. When I was pregnant I ate there all the time I craved there steak. On St Patricks day we would get their baileys cheese cake. It will be truely missed. I have eaten at Hoggys once and IT SUCKS! They are over priced and the food is awful, you can add this on you list of crappy chain joints that have spread to Delaware. We have started going to Corner Cafe now and even though I love it its not the same.
