   Our sales person (an older man) was a bit pushy when we made a recent major appliance purchase. He also spoke in a pseudo-condescending manner toward my wife. The only thing that salvaged the experience was the friendly installation crew.

   I went to Lowe's right after work, so I was not the best-dressed guy in the store....
   
   I stood in the tool section looking at various tablesaws for fifteen minutes and not ONE employee asked if I needed help.
   
   Frustrated, I went to Home Depot and spent my $450 there. I got GOOD customer service within 30 seconds of entering the tool area. Sorry, I'm not one to reverse the "customer service" process.

   I've had the EXACT opposite experience. I also found them to be more helpful and more likely to teach me at Lowes.

   The employees make this the place to shop: Been in buisness for since 2000 and do all of my shopping here. Every work day I start at Lowe's getting the needed supplies for the day. Without their help, I wouldn't be as sucessful as I have been in running my business.
