I actually worked at Herschels a few years ago, and I'll just tell you that by way of cleanliness in the kitchen, I would NOT eat there. I had to wash dishes in dirty water becuase they told me it was fine and not to get another tub full. Eck.

My son and eat there every time he has a dentists app. it is great food for a decent price. You don't find a lot to that these days.

Kinda backdated....: when you go there...you might step back and think you returned to 1960...there is not retro anything...its the real deal...I hear the locals like it and I noticed alot of older folks hang there...I had a bbq sandwich and it was good, someone I talked to said the cheese burgers were extra good and bigger than the averager burger...at a good price...how can some people be a vegatarian....I'll be back....I gave it four stars...mike
