best place around to eat: very nice place to eat clean and will staffed
Agreed: Overrated.: No matter what day of the week or time of day, the wait for the restaurant is apalling. The shortest wait we've had is 35 mins, and the longest 1 hr 45 mins. Ok, their fried chicken is probably the best in the area imo, but it is no way good enough to wait that long for. The restaurant is always packed and noisy - the buffet attracts big groups with numerous screeching children. The servers appear to do the best they can to see that everyone is taken care of, but don't expect to have your glass re-filled immediately or plates cleared away promptly. The service ranges from cheerful and smiling to downright rude. We've been 5 times, and I can't be bothered to go again. (PS, I have also heard numerous stories that not only is the food far from being home-made, the vast majority of employees aren't Amish. While I couldn't care less about this personally, I think it's wrong to mislead people into thinking they are getting something they aren't)
My wife and I loved it there.: My wife and I went there once and we loved it. althought there is a lot of people and a long wait, the service and the food more than make up for it. I would definately recommend taking a date here it is a very romantic place with a lot of amish accent. You won't find quality food like they have at other restaurants, the food is home made none of the instant crap that a lot of restaurants slop on your plate.
