coco key was good. The staff on the other hand was not. Called a month in advance and reserved 3 rooms side by side. called 2 days before and confirmed with confirmation number. good to go. get there and check in and rooms were not side by side. they wanted 2 rooms in the same hallway and the other one on the other side of the building. i asked to talk to a manager and they try to give me the run around and then i finally get the manager. They then upgrade one room and get us all in the same hall. not what we reserved but ok i guess. then get home and fined out the charge Twice the price that we signed for and had to be on the phone to get it straighted out..........

Cherry Valley Lodge is reported as a 5 star hotel and has a tendency to turn lives upside down. They routinely let go loyal employees who have been there since the beginning of the Lodge. With the understanding that the economy is in a hardship, a General Manager has the responsibility to take ownership of his/her companies downfall. Becky Miller does not do this. Do not take part in her leading good and honest people to a place that only her leadership has brought them. This is a place that used to be among the elite and now is a place that has gutted the staff and continues to fall under a unloyal and meaningless leader.

Family Time/Private Time: This lodge is one of the most wonderful experiences my family has ever had. Swimming, kids activities, nature trails, bicycles, Cherry Valley has it all. But the private aspect is also appealing. We go without the children and relax by the pool, go in town and browse the antique shops, take long walks on quiet trails. Above all the restaurant is beyond compare. The freshness of choices, the seating either inside or out, the professionalism of the staff. You won't find a better full service establishment in Ohio. We visited CVL eight times last summer, and twice over the winter. Both seasons are beautiful with the landscaped grounds and indoor/outdoor activities offered.
