I went there with a friend who is from out of town and loved it!! There pho-ga was delicious and served in a large portion. I enjoyed their plum wine and Ginjo Premier sake. The service was the best and the atmosphere was comforting. I would recommend this restaurant to each of my friends. To me, it's a 5-star place.
My first visit here was so memorable, I have vowed to return soon. The food and service were both worthy of praise. Indochine Cafe is owned by an affable husband and wife team, who made newcomers like me -as well as many regulars- feel welcomed.
The menu has great photos of their Vietnamese and Laotian fare. Their food is fresh and artistically plated, and easy on the wallet. A bowl of pho would easily pass as an entire meal, but save room for the wings and translucent shrimp rolls.
I happily drank beer from Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos (the only place in Columbus to get light and dark Laotian beer). I sat at the more casual bar area, and was entertained by the entire family. I look forward to my next visit.
This is with no question my favorite place to eat in columbus, I travel alot and eat in many different cities. But i can easily say that i look forward to coming home so i can visit the cafe. The food is great, and the owners are very friendly. So if you get a chance you must stop in and try it out, have a order of spring rolls and a bowel of pho. For something really good asked about the special of the day, It's always something good no matter what it is.
