The new Lowe's store is where I went for my new carpet and instalation. We also did a whole new bathroom remodel to make it handicapped accessable for myself. My son made many trips there and the service was excellent.I especially thank the Installation Departmant. When a small problem came up "Julie" stopped what she was doing and came to the house at that moment...not to mention it was special order carpet that takes a couple weeks but Julie again MADE things happen and it was done withih a week. I commend all who work there....it's been a pleasure and will continue I,m sure.
My special thanks to all that helped.
I have to agree with comments about service. I always feel like I am interrupting the employee when I ask for assistance. The assistance you get is just minimum-I have never had anyone go out of their way to help me. I've just done a major home remodel and started out at Lowe's but ended up driving to Home Depot in Reynoldsburg to finish the project. I just couldn't take the biased, uncaring, unhelpful attitude of employee's and management.
Don't bother asking anyone, for any help. Most employees don't even have a basic knowledge of common hardware, electrical, or plumbing products.
I was looking for something every hardware store sells. After a quick look, the person said they don't have it. When I found it, on the self just above, I got "attitude" and he just walked away...
Nice customer service, and wonderful image of Lowe's!
And worse, in this store at least, besides trying to avoid customers, talking to eachother and on their cells, they seem to favor one race over another. For example, African Americans get a welcome at the entrance, Whites get nothing or depending on which employee is there, a smirk or a dirty look.
Although this store is nearby, and even with gas prices, I still drive to Home Depot.
Too bad executive management either isn't aware of the mismanagement of this store, or just doesn't care.
