My experience? Very poor customer service. I ordered a meal to take out, found out I got a wrong order, called and spoke to a manager that same night and was told I will get a gift card in mail. As you can imagine the gift card never arrived. Well, I called back later and spoke to a second manager, who told me she cannot help me because I cannot longer prove the day of my order and I do not have a receipt of purchase. As this is all about a competition and other places will be glad to refund my full purchase in case they make an error, Fish Market just lost a customer and many more, because I will let people know how I was treated. It is unfortunate, because when this business started, it was all about its customers. Well not any longer...
I read a mix of reviews about this place, but decided to try it anyways. As it IS a fish place, my wife and I decided NOT to order steak .... I have to say that the food was delicious, and the servings were very genreous. We also had desert, and the shark fin pie (or something like that) was AWESOME!!! I have eaten at Hyde Park, Camerons, etc, and have to say that I was most impressed with the Fish Market. It will become a regular place for my wife and I. A+++++ service on top of terrific food.
Mediocre is being kind. I felt it was overpriced and the quality of food was far from up to par after I'd heard people like this place. Must be a status thing because I've had better at Ponderosa. My husband orderd steak and had to send it back 3 times and it was still done terribly. We ended up with a $50 gift card for the hassle, but gave it away...we won't go back. I know they are a fish market, but if you're going to offer something, do it right or don't offer it at all. The waiting area is far from accommodating, and it was loud throughout dinner. I would have rather eaten at McDonalds.
