This filthy little hole is like having a flashback to thirty years ago, when 'health' food had the consistency and appeal of cardboard, and choices were oh so limited.
Their freezers are always giving out, and frozen food can often be found in indecipherable (and impenetrable) piles, covered in ice an inch thick and sold well past the expiration date.
When you try to return problem items, you're met with outright hostility.
I've seen them repeatedly 'doctoring' the produce (for example, cutting eyes out of potatoes) that was well past its prime, in an attempt to sell inferior products.
The place is a real dive, not the least bit progressive, and if you question the way they do things, be prepared for Annerose (the manager) to come at you with fangs and claws.
If you like co op shopping in Columbus, try Clintonville Community Market. It's beautiful, the people are kind, they're progressive, and willing to evolve their business with the times, and the food is absolutely beautiful (GREAT produce).
As for other markets, Whole Foods, Raisin Rack, and many local groceries, have EXACTLY the same merchandise (minus the freezer burn and dust) as Bexley Co op, for lower prices and less antagonism.
DON'T GO, IT'S AWFUL.
