   Short North Cheers: If there is truly a "neighborhood hangout" for the Short North, the Short North Tavern is it. This is where the locals come to kick back, unwind, throw darts, and watch a live local band on the weekends. No flash, no pretenses, just a cool neighborhood bar that is heavy on atmosphere and local color to the Nth degree. Love it!

   This is a REAL place to be.: This is one of the few places I feel I can go to and be myself.
   The music they play is always interesting and the food is pretty darn good for a bar. I have become a regular and know many of the employees. Drinks are a reasonable price. Its not pretentious and I love that.

   They take good care of their REAL Dart Boards!!!!: I don't normally GUSH about bars but this place is my Thursday night hang. Two REAL dart boards hang towards the back, the bar darts are nearly as good as using your own. The bartenders remember you, laugh with you and keep awesome track of your orders. BTW, the burgers there are AWESOME! You can watch a game on the TV while you eat/drink/play.
   
   Sometimes you can find some live music there but most of the time it is an eclectic CD collection. David Bowie, Bob Marley, Dave Matthews, Bjork... you never know what'll be on the playlist. NO ANNOYING DJ wanna-bes with little to no skill trying to plug their services every 5 minutes!
   
   Service with a smile, inexpensive pub style eats and a full bar! Great place to meet friends or to hang out late with co-workers!
   
   NON SMOKING! Ah, CLEAN air! You don't leave smelling like an ashtray and you can TASTE your beer!
