Dealing with Lindsay Honda was the worst new car buying experience we have ever had. My Wife and I purchased a new 2009 Honda Odyssey in July 2009, our sales Rep John Ross was incompetent. When test driving the van an indicator light âECOâ came on. We asked John what the light was for and he said the gas cap was loose and the mechanic fixed the problem. Upon checking out the ownerâs manual we found out that the âECOâ light comes on when the vehicle is getting the best fuel mileage. You would figure a competent sales rep would know this. Also when purchasing this vehicle, it took several days to get the wireless head sets for the entertainment package and also the additional key for the van because no one could find it. We should have turned around and ran!
It gets worse; about a week after purchasing our Odyssey we noticed that the paint on the driverâs side sliding door was starting to fade, definitely a factory defect. As anyone would ask, we asked them to paint the entire van because, according to Honda, the paint will not be a perfect match. Lindsay Honda and American Honda refused to paint our entire 4 month old, $38,000 Honda Odyssey. The customer service at the service shop is totally unacceptable as well as customer service with Honda America.
Please be careful if dealing with Lindsay Honda. They are a bottom line dealership which cares for nothing about the customer after the sale.
Honda East has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER seen. Their service department may be even worse. I have taken my car in there numerous times for the same problem. They will have my car for days and call me saying it's fixed and I go and pick it up and have the same problem one minute down the road. It's pathetic. I will NEVER recommend them to anybody. If you want a Honda, go to another dealer. Same thing for their other dealership Lindsay Acura-RIDICULOUS. How they both stay in business is beyond me.
Just bought a certified Honda Ridgeline. It was the nicest truck that I saw at all the dealerships. I got a great price and the staff was great. My salesman Yuan was knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The finance department was fast and I was done in twenty minutes with all the paperwork. I bought an extended warranty as well because it was very inexpensive for the up grade. I look forward to buying my wifes Odyssey there in Febuary when her lease is up.
