POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: I was not satisfied with the service that I received at Joanne flowers at all. I placed a order for a corsage for my daughters senior prom, when placing the order the girl in the store was very polite and helpful. I wanted something different so we decided on white Calililies. On the morning of her prom the owner/florist called and said that they did not have white Calililies so would I like to go with something else so we decided on roses. However when we got the corsage it was to top heavy to stay on the clamp that holds it in place. I called to let the owner know what happened and she said they do not refund and I should have brought it back like any other store. I informed her that I was not looking for a refund but an apology would be nice being that I paid $43.00 for a corsage and a boutinniere that my daughter was unable to wear. She was very rude and kept focusing on the the money issue when all I was looking for is an apology. She stated that if I had brought it back maybe they could have fixed it, I informed her that by the time my daughter date arrived at my home with the corsage they were already closed because her prom was not until 7:30 and they close at 6. I feel as though an apology was the least that she could do for my $43.00 that was wasted. Everyone knows that you can get a corsage set for about $20 to $25 at the most so if I was willing to spend the $43.00 it was not about the money. Even the woman that took my order was upset and suprised that she would charge so much so a corsage, but it's ok because like I told her word of mouth can make of break a business. I can't beleive that she was arguing with me instead of trying to hear my out, I have never experienced this type of problem with a business owner. I guess people are not into satisfying there customers anymore. So please think twice when ordering something from this company, and make sure that if you do they will be open on the day of your engagement for any last minute fixes or you will be just out of luck.
