| About: | When our first Golden Corral restaurant opened in Fayetteville, NC back in 1973, a fledgling Golden Corral Corporation took a confident first step into the restaurant business. We offer tempting baked goods from The Brass Bell Bakery, our famous in-house bakery. Piping hot yeast rolls, muffins, yummy cookies and brownies are baked fresh every fifteen minutes! User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsNever underestimate how disgusting a cheap meal can be. This is haute cuisine a la mobile home court. The best feature was the salad bar, which was untouched (except for the chocolate pudding). Nearly everyone I saw in the restaurant was obese, not overweight, OBESE... which may say something about the nutritional value of their fatty, pasty food.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWe ate here several times when we were in the area. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very courteous. The food is actually very good and the lunch buffet is excellent.

Must give Golden Corral a 5 star! Although I agree that it differs from place to place. First time I tried it was in Lakeland Florida and the food was great. After visiting this particular one several times it got bad but the One in West Palm Beach Florida is really good. Can't say anything is bad there but I never ate the Pizza. Try it! you can't loose for the money. We visit it once a week and look forward to the chicken kabobs and great salads.
