Don't know when the BGSU girl went but for dinner, its the best Chinese food around if you purchase things like Almond Chicken, Garlic Chicken. They also have brown rice which is great. It's not a glamorous place but it's decent and it's not fast food which most of the other Chinese places are in town. It certainly never has had the greasy foods that the 2 buffets in town carry, at least not that I ever noticed. My friends from NY think it better than any Chinese they've had where they live.
This place was pretty bad. The sit-in restaurant is unwelcoming. The won ton soup I had was TERRIBLE. It was so salty, I could hardly eat it. How do you mess that up? My boyfriend's hot and sour soup was so sour, even afterward, he couldn't taste anything.
No highlights throughout the meal. The General Tso's chicken was decent, but not at all spicy! Everything else was greasy and overpriced. The lo mein was made with spaghetti noodles. It was bland and tasteless. The steamed rice tasted like it had been sitting around all day; the fried rice was no better.
The best part of the meal was leaving. At least the waitress was nice.
This is a great place to eat. Love the Lemon Chicken and Pot Stickers. Just around the corner and great for carryout or eating in. FYI, you can order a Lunch Portion during dinner and save money. The amount of food is basically the same and you save money.
