    Very good service. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Got right in and was waited on right away. The food is excellent, but the buffet is a little pricy. All depends what you want. My wife and I really enjoyed it. She got the buffet, I got a delicious chicken salad/fruit plate. Just as an afterthought, another place to try if you like buffets and not quite as expensive is a small place called Das Essen Haus just 4 miles East. Excellent...

    Not my Mennonite Grandma's cooking, but good: I have gone to the Barn Restaurant since it opened years ago. While the food is good, it seems so much more commercial and non authentic than it did years back. The food was better then, too. I personally prefer a similar restaurant, Das Essenhaus about 4 miles east of the Barn. It is smaller and the food is better - more like my Mennonite grandmother used to cook. Also a better value.
