User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Classic Cafe is a family dinner table, expanded into a few dozen tables. :) For myself, it feels like stopping by my favorite aunt's house for a warm, no-fuss meal after being away from home for much too long. The staff know the majority of their customers by name, and it is not uncommon to have customers come in requesting their favorite waitress. On the menu you'll find typical diner meals -- breakfast all day, sandwiches and bountiful dinner plates. Classic Cafe is popular for its "daily special" selections and their senior discount. There is nothing like topping your meal off with a piece of their huge selection of homemade pies, made fresh at a local bakery and impossible to turn down from that smiling waitress who reminds you a little of your second cousin. Go once, you'll think it's nice. Go twice, you'll smile with recognition as you walk in. Go a few more times, and you'll be hooked like everyone else. There's a reason this small diner, nearly hidden within a strip mall, is packed-full during the lunch rush and is frequented by loyal patrons every hour of the day! Fill up your coffee cup and listen to the sounds of regular, genuine people enjoying a family atmosphere. In today's society of chain restaurants and un-invested waiters trying to get you out to seat the next party of 8, the Classic Cafe is a refreshing and welcoming alternative!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNo frills -- just a good, hot breakfast every time, at a reasonable price with good, friendly service. The cleanest breakfast joint you'll ever set foot in, to boot.
