Ehrmin, Jody DVM - Animal Emergency-Critical Care

Dr. Ehrmin is fabulous. My 17 year-old cat was dying of chronic renal failure. During the wee hours of the morning of her last day, I called the emergency center to let them know I was bringing her in to be euthanized since she was going into shock. Dr. Ehrmin and her assistant (I wish I could remember the assistant's name!) were compassionate, professional and very, very gentle with my cat during her last minutes. Dr. Ehrmin was also very good at letting me know what to look for with my 2 other cats who, she explained, would probably mourn my cat's death. Dr. Ehrmin has a soft-spoken voice, a very kind demeanor and let my husband and I know exactly what was going to take place that sad morning. She knows how to deal well with people and animals; a rare blend! She assured me that we had done all we could do and that, yes, it was time to say goodbye to my cat. She didn't rush us and did give my cat a sedative before administering the final shot that would stop her heart. My husband and I left the emergency care center sad but comforted by the assistance and kindness we received from Dr. Ehrmin and her assistant. She is a treasure!

Great place: My puppy was pooping worms and I didn't know what to do because it was my first dog and the people that I got him from said that he had his shots when he didn't. But i called in and they told me to come in and that he had roundworm and exp. everything so well, and the vet. was very nice too. They also told what vets. where good.

Rating their Phone Service: Ok, I didn't go in there, so I can't rate the visit, but I called when my cat swallowed a toy feather. He's my first pet, so I was concerned, but the person who answered the phone was wonderful and talked to the senior vet tech who told me what to look out for, and said I don't need to bring him in right away, but I could if I wanted to.
