In a town that is very dear to my heart, one of grandma's favorite places that has never let us down. Great wholesome food at very reasonable prices. Daily specials that simply can't be beaten. As my little nephew stated:"more better than the other places". Personal favorites include any of the pasta or seafood dishes. Like great fried chicken? try the 4 piece, just like grandma used to make-come hungry!! We'll be back!!

Any of you knot heads who complain about The Lakeway, the cusine, the prices or the service, have your heads up that same dark place where most of the city fathers have theirs. The chow is five star, the portions are generous, the service is great and the prices, well lets just say, come to Hollywood or Palm Springs, California. My favorite, the sixteen ounce strip steak, potatoes, a couple of beers, salad and desert will cost me less than forty five bucks at The Lakeway. Out here, the meat, alone, will be sixty dollars. Come on boys and girls. Reach back and get your heads out of that dark place where it's been most of your life. That having been done, you'll quickly find that the Lakeway is one of the few shining gems left in my old home town.
